Title: PGA Superstore
Post by: discmonkey on January 03, 2013, 09:11:22 PM
A guy at work today said he was in the new PGA superstore at Woodfield and they have a disc golf section.  He said they even had a couple baskets to try the discs with.

Anyone been there?  Worth stopping by?

I kind of picture an endcap with a few Innova discs and that's it like Dick's, but you never know.

I drove by there the other day and told my wife that store looked impressive. I almost stopped. I should have.

My curiosity was up, it was too cold and windy to play more than one round today, and I play a ton of ball golf, so my roommate and I made the trip down to check it out.

If you play golf or tennis, you should make a point to visit.  Indoor tennis court, indoor driving and practice ranges, 8-10 virtual golf bays, and more merch than you could possibly make your way through.

For disc golf, don't bother.  It's just what I thought.  One small section of Innova only and a couple of baskets almost hidden in a back corner.  If you need a pro wraith, stop on by.  Otherwise, hit up A2B.  A2B has 2-3 times as many discs and from 5-6 different mfrs.
