Lost my beloved 10x fly dye Cheetah today on #7 during my 2nd time through the course. The first time thru I parked it and on my second visit it flipped up right away and rolled from the woods all the way across the grass, down onto the ice, and finally went into the water on the West side of the island.

Right away I knew it was a goner, so I had time to tell it good bye... :(

its good that you had those final seconds to say goodbye. ...after the silence did you contemplate braving the Thin Ice for your Cheetah ?

Nope, its in the water by the bubbler. No chance ever for retrieval, except maybe with a wetsuit and o2 tank.

you know, there are so many discs down there that one afternoon of scuba diving could retrieve dozens! maybe we should talk to the park district?
