Title: Mach III vs ChainStar?
Post by: Ron Huebner on March 21, 2013, 04:27:16 PM
Palatine's Park District is reviewing quotes on the disc golf baskets for the new 9 holes they will install. They have quotes for the Mach III and ChainStar with the Mach III coming in at ~$1000 higher. Which is better? Is the Mach III worth the difference?

I miss putts equally on both types.  I think the IIIs may hold up better.

Mach 3's all day. Would also keep uniform with what is there.

The Mach 5 is similar to the Chainstar and price.

IMO DGA has better welds and holds up better long term.

I need the number plate to stop my putter.  So, its Mach 3 for me.

I would trust what Brett says though.  He pays more attention to the baskets than any other golfer I know.

Thanks for your input. I passed along the recommendations for Mach III baskets to the Park District.
