Well very soon I am going to be purchasing a practice basket, so I'm looking for suggestions. The biggest factor is portability, I don't drive an SUV in fact I drive a Kia so it has to be able to break down enough to fit in there.

That said I don't want to spend a ton, but I understand you pay for what you get. Also I don't want the Acme Catch-Anything-2000. After all this is a practice basket and want to be able to make puts on a less than godlike basket.

So any suggestions or ideas? I had seen a basket in Disc Golf News that was made of PVC tube I think. It looked okay, but does anyone know about it? Others I was looking at are the Skill Shot and M-14.

I like my M15 (DGA) a lot, it breaks down pretty quickly and easily. It is not as portable as the Skill Shot, but is as close a replica to any of the Mach baskets as you're gonna get without buying one!

I think my biggest gripe is that it has a tendancy to spit out some putts that would have stayed in the basket of a course target, but I guess that just makes you get cleaner on your putts.

I LOVE my Tri-State since I ripped off those plastic chains and installed metal. Its not really tourney worthy, but is great in the backyard.

M-14s rock too. SkillShots too. But if you're serious, get a real MachV portable.

Jon,

You have a very nice basket. That guys should sell those on ebay. He could get 300 a pop for them.

Jon,

You should post a picture. That basket is sweet. Anyone wanting a quality basket, here's your chance!

I'm thinking of selling my practice basket, it's just too much work lugging it up the stairs all the time. Anyone interested?
