I am coming up from St. Louis for the Jimmy Buffett concert at the world next week. I am extending my weekend a few days to visit  the IKEA store and little India.  Would like some suggestions on courses that I may get to try and throw.

The Streamwood course is fairly close to the Ikea store.

i like mokena better than any other ones ive been to this summer...  although im yet to try streamwood.  West Park in Joliet is my next favorite, and i like the New Lennox course when its not busy.  Round Lake is good if you feel like spending 3 hours looking for lost discs, or maybe im just terrible.

A lot of people turn around before their disc comes to rest. If you watch your disc until it comes to a rest and then walk in a straight line to it, it's a lot easier to find.

Depending on how much time you have. There are plenty of courses within a reasonable drive of IKEA. The three closest are probably Streamwood, Elk Grove and Palatine. I believe Streamwood is the only 18 hole course of those three. I have not played Palatine yet, but, Streamwood is more challenging than Elk Grove for sure. The other courses that wouldn't be too far to get to would be Buffalo Grove, Lombard, and Downers Grove. If you are willing to travel a little further,  45 minutes to an hours drive or so from Ikea, you can find Glenco, Highland Park and Waukeegan to the North, and Naperville to the west. As you can see, there are plenty here depending on your time. I would suggest hitting the PDGA course directory for info on how to get there, or if you know one course you want to play. I'm sure someone could give you directions. Have some fun.
