Hello, I'm looking to maybe take a weekend trip for some nice courses in the midwest. Pereferebly a place that has 2-3 courses in the same area. I also noticed the pdga site saying that some courses might have camping. Does anybody know of any? thanks

Go to Highbridge WI or Des Moines IA.

If you like camping Highbridge is the way to go. They have a semi completed shower area which works. It's a little rough but it'll do. The camping is right by the courses. There is also a nice state park a few miles from there that has camping and good shower facilities. Copper Falls State Park.

Highbridges is in the middle of nowhere. Ashland is 20 miles away and is pretty small. If you are looking for night life excitement, Highbridge is not the place to go.

Des Moines is a nice city with the normal things to do.

I grew up in Des Moines. Not to toot it's horn, I have never been to highbridge, but Des Moines has a lot of places to camp very near the city also. Most noteably would be Saylorville Lake, just North of Des Moines. It's a nice atmosphere which offers other summertime activites. There is another Lake/campground very near Indianola, Iowa which is 20 miles South of Des Moines and has a good course there also. I think that Lake's Name is Aquabi.

Yup, link to Aquabi

If Disc golf is all you want and you really want to get away from city life, WI would probably be your best bet. Des Moines still gives you a little bit of a city feel while still being able to get out of the rush. The town has changed a lot since I lived there, but, if you need any information, I'll be glad to help any way I can.
