Look forward to seeing you on the course David. Sounds like the road to recovery has been smooth.

Whoa! Tomorrow is one year since they took a scalpel to my chest.  Its hard to believe.  Before, I could barely walk from tee to green without huffing and puffing. Now, Its a snap.  The only problem is the number of times I pick up my disc and throw it. :P

There has been a lot of discussion of disc golf and drugs and this forum and others.  All I know is that Lipitor is the bomb.  Its done wonders for my game, like keeping me alive to play it.

Full speed ahead.  I rode 30 on Saturday and went to league on Sunday.  That will likely be my routine this year except the distances will increase.  I plan on riding the Hillly Hundred in Bloomington this fall.  I could have gone last year but it conflicted with IOS #7.  No conflict this year and I will hit the hills.  Its tough for us native flatlanders.

Gonna be in Rockford today but left the bag at home as it looks pretty wet out and I am kinda busy. I am going to try to get to Janesville when I go to Rockford on the 14th. (thread drift...)

i checked out the site and it looks cool.  i have driven through the area where the biking takes place and it is very scenic, lots of cool limestone formations, dips and turns in the road, and everything else.  what i couldnt figure out was is the 100 split amongst the three days or is it 100 per day and back to the campsite each evening?  either way, it seems pretty highly acclaimed by the national bike scene.  if nothing else is going on that weekend you may catch me down there too.

Its 50/day for two days.  They have shorter options for each day.  There is bluegrass music at every rest stop.  The music is amazing.  My favorite, the Punkin' Holler Boys, have played at the last rest stop on Saturday.  Its nice sitting under a tree on one of the last warm days of the year  drinking apple cider and listening to them sing such songs as "you'd be drinking a better beer...if you were drinking with me." after about 40 miles of hills.

There are a couple local disc golf courses.  However, I am, not sure I will be up for throwing after all the riding. The merch tent is tremendous. Great late season blowouts and a good place to get stuff you need.  Let me know if you are going to be down there.

I don't think we can actually have thread drift in this thread. It's David's thread and it is in the shooting the breeze section.
