10 week Summer League Thursday nights starting this Thursday June 12th.

Sign-up at 5:30

Tee-off at 6:00

$5 entry

$1 ace pool

Format is Singles, Pro and Am divisions...most likely 2 Am divisions (depends on attendance).

Stats will be keep to show your averages..we will change the course a little each week to spice it up.

Winner of each division each week wins a disc and the top 1/3 will get paid out in plastic with awards to top players.  If you played last year we paid out with lots of good plastic, mostly CE and KC plastic.

Also, $1 out of entry goes to a course fund.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

I hope to either make this or your glow league every other week, as my better half allows.....

Way to go Kev!

Has Pat Hamill been coming every week?

No such thing as a glow league at Parkside.   Just a bunch of people show up at sunset on Fridays...I think they are the "Friday Glow Disc Society."  Very mysterious people indeed..

Jim, looking forward to shotting a round with you.

Damon, that is a possibility...maybe the advanced ams could play from the long every 3rd week or something.

I have to say that I have seen some of the best shots ever in the dark...It is so fun watching those glow sticks fly down the fairway.  I remember one night seeing Dennis Miller not hit any trees all night...and he wasn't even on the fairway for most of the wooded holes..

..very strange...almost like a Pat Wood ace.

I've heard about this "Friday Glow Society".  From what I hear they are an odd bunch of people. Unusual tree sacrifices and plenty of dueces for all who attend.  I hear anyone is welcome to join but "Back all ye men short of valor for DEATH awaits you with big, nasty pointy teeth!"

I'd love to make it, but I can't til Little League season is over in late July (I'm already ditching most of the Saturday games, selfish old man that I am...) - and I might actually be working again by then...

Is there going to be a middle division that will play the long tees but not have to compete against the open players?
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??
