Apologies to everyone for the outage that started at about 1:30AM on Monday. TDS, which supplies the Internet connection our lovely bulletin board (as well as many other websites and email for about 15 people on this server), decided out of the blue to change the network address for our connection. Since the switch, we've been having connectivity issues where the server drops offline for a few minutes then typically comes back. This should hopefully be resolved within a week, as the problem is with the DSL provider and not with the server.

Just an update....

They have reportedly fixed our problem by giving me a semi-permanent address for the server. The reason why I say semi is becuase it could change sometime in the future, but I hope not...

It's neither and really deserves a new thread.....

I upgraded the Bulletin Board software yesterday to the final version the company made before dropping off the face of the planet. As a result of the upgrade, I felt that the "HOME" link would be more useful if it pointed to the main club site & not the board's index page. After all, that's what the "Index" link in big bold letters does anyway & there is no way to change it.

My computer has been doing strange things today, so this might be a PC problem and not a web site problem. When I click on the "home" category at the top of this page, it takes me to the Discontinuum web site instead of the Discussion main page. Is it supposed to do that? Not that it matters a whole lot.

Thanks. I didn't realize that "Index" was a link. That simplifies things.
