For those interested the distance on Day 2 hole 18 was correct. I checked Bing maps using Bird's Eye view and did GPS measures and it came down to 971 on my calculations so his was right on at 969.

That one must have felt longer just due to the low ceilings on the throws.

Ben actually double checked it... apparently folks were talking about it alot...  The hole wheeled 969 down the left fairway and 974 down the right fairway...

The first almost half of that hole is an uphill grade...
