Club Meeting Minutes

In attendance Sunday 4/17

Nick F,  KVN, Mitch W., Dan M., Brett C.,  Jon B., Mike C., Allan S., Kenny G., Adrian G.

1.  Finances are still the same.  Mirth wrote a $150 check from Discontinuum to go towards a new server.

2.  IOS #1  Next week!

3.  #6 at Bevier has been moved back into the woods about 75 feet.  Thanks alot to Adrian Sr. and Adrian Jr. for moving the basket!  We played this hole for the first time at leagues this week.

4.  A proposal from a local Round Lake radio station (93.9 FM) was made to help host a tournament at Fairfield in combination with Discontinuum.  The radio station has proposed to give away prizes at the event and would like it to be focused on newer players.  They would promote the event on the radio.  It is not yet decided whether or not the club will take on this venture or when it would be held.

5.  It was also discussed that the leftover Fly Pads from Edgebrook Golf Course might be installed at Fairfield.  This would have to be first approved by the RLPD.

This is a new & not a big radio station. At this point we are not for sure what to expect. Jon is talking to them.
