Is this a sign that I am addicted to disc golf?

I made this basket  a year and a half ago, because my brother said it couldn't be done.  I've debated making more and selling them, but I couldn't guarantee it because it's made of hi-density fiberboard, with hardword dowels etc.  I don't leave it in the elements for fear it will disintergrate.  It has lasted being banged while I practice putting .... or on short drives in the yard.

Overall cost ... about $35 in wood and dowels and $65 in chains.  2 weeks of labor involved ... so... I probably could have purchased a DB5 or a Chainstar ... but .. it's unique.

I've neveer seen you throwing ghost discs, but i've never doubted your mental instability!

Maybe you could figure out how to make the basket out of more durable cheap materials, like pvc pipe or something.  I like the design.

That is a pretty sweet basket!

I saw a hanging basket on a course near Sandusky Ohio. The course was called the Great Blue Heron in Norwalkl, OH. It was hanging on a chain around a HUGE limb of a tree.

That is a work of art. The only way you could improve that is if you spent the next three years carving chain link out of wood to replace the metal chain!  :D

Whenever my family goes to Ohio to visit family, we play at Norwalk. It is one of my favorite courses. The basket there is cool. I think the hole# is 11.

Thanks guys ... The course in Norwalk, Great Blue Heron is an AWESOME course.  As Michael stated, when we visit family in Ohio, the course is right on the way.  We stop and have lunch and play a couple of rounds.  The three times we've played it, it has been different too.  I learned they have multiple pole locations and switch things around all the time.  Right when you think you've got a layout figured out ... it's different.  Excellently designed.
