IOS #4 @ Rockford, IL was a huge success. There were 141 players on Saturday and 82 players on Sunday for a total of 223 players. There was a 78 player Advanced field which is one of the largest advanced fields of the year. Congrats to all who qualified for Amateur Nationals. There was a large crowd that watched the Final 4 Safari where Adam Olsen walked away with the Open win. Check out the results below.

IOS #5 @ Streamwood, IL is on August 12th & 13th. Names have already started to be uploaded to the PDGA Tour page. The Ace Pool will start at $1,000. Please preregister. Club member Terry Miller is running the Greater Milwaukee Open this weekend. It's filling quickly so please preregister. This is an Am/Pro B-Tier with $500 added to the Pro purse. All divisions will play at Dretzka Park on Saturday, August 5th. Dretzka Park is one of the locations that will be used for Am Worlds in 2007. We had several club members attend Amateur Worlds in Tulsa, OK. Todd Fanning and Bryan Schumann competed in the Junior Boys under 19 division. Bryan finished 4th and Todd was 2 back of the leader finishing 2nd place. Neal Swanson finished 40th of 244 Advanced players. He also finished 4th in driving competition throwing 492 feet. Way to represent guys!

DISContinuum is hosting the 2nd DISContinuum DGC Invitational. This is a PDGA C-Tier event that is an invitational for all current club members. It will take place on Friday, August 18th at Bevier Park in Waukegan, IL. This is a great day to call in sick or take a vacation day. Check this thread for more information. Over the summer we've had many errors with score cards. Please check your score cards!!
Scoring
804.03-G-2
If it is determined that the total score was incorrectly recorded, either by an error on a hole score or by an error in totaling the hole scores, including omission of the total score, the director shall add two penalty throws to the correct total score. These penalty throws are not added when the TD (or an official designated by the TD, such as a course director) corrects a player's score for other infractions determined after this player had turned in an otherwise correct scorecard.
