Hello everyone!

This year the event is NOT just for students.  We are opening it up to include novice, juniors, intermediate amateurs, advanced amateurs, and women.  I have just one women's division listed but we could split that later if we get enough interest.

The setting will again be the Milwaukee County Sports Complex.  I met with them today and they are planning to get their mowers out there next week to start carving out the additional 9 holes.  Our plan is to have 9 more PERMANENT holes out there by the time of the event.  That will make this a full-time 18 hole course!

This is a low-key, low-cost event that has a slight school twist to it.  Basically, the school that shows up with the most number of students will win a portable basket to take back with them.

As always we will have registration available on http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=112.  This is yet another chance to earn some points for next years worlds.  This is a PDGA C-Tier event.

Let me know if you have any questions!  If you're wondering why we don't have pros at this event it's because they like to whine too much so I'll make it easy and just not offer a division for them.

PS.  Which lucky student that gets to take the basket and store it is something I'll have no part of!  You guys will fight it out amongst yourselves!!!

Just refreshing this a little.  I hope to see a bunch of people come out for this.  Looks like we'll have custom STAR plastic as part of the player's package.

There are lots of people that have said they are coming so I would suggest you get your pre-registration in asap. I know the list only shows a handful right now but the GMO went from 15 participants to over 150 in less than a week!
