7th Annual Widdershins Open - November 10th - Bevier Park, Waukegan

It's a high of 50 for tomorrow, with winds estimated to be a very light 6mph!  No rain is expected, so I hope many of you come on out!  I would greatly appreciate the support!

Don't forget about the Bring your own partner glow doubles later that night too!  Try to be there around 6 for registration.

Well, we had an unfortunate turnout for the morning rounds.  The glow was much better thankfully

There were 5 people that came out for the Widdershins Open.  Dave Nelson took 1st place in Open taking home $90.  He also won a CTP for a Glow Wizard.

Sergio C. took 1st in Advanced and won $30 rewards dollars.

Carla G. took 1st place in the Womens division and took home the 1st place trophy.

Thanks to those of you who did come out, and I appreciate everyone for staying to play.

For the glow round we had 14 people play.  There were 5 upper teams and 2 lower teams.  In upper Brett C and Tom S took 1st place winning $40 for the team.  Scott K and Chris J took 2nd winning $13 for the team (the $3 was from the ace fund from Widdershins that rolled over to payouts for the glow round).  For lower Matt and Josh beat out John and me by 1 stroke by throwing an even.  The two of them split $20.

We had a throwoff for the $16 Ace Pool in the evening, and Scott K & Tom S split winning $8 each.

Thanks so much to my wife Sara, Eric M, Adrian G, John C, and Matt S for helping me with all of the various duties of unloading, setting up, packing up, and reloading.  An extra thanks to John C for helping set up some of the glow baskets and tees.  An extra thanks to Matt S for going out to the course in the morning and clearing out all of the glow stuff!

I hope everyone comes out for Chains of Pain this upcoming weekend... it will be a great time!
