Gobble Gobble!  The Turkey Bowl is back!  We are going to play a set of courses that are a lot closer to one another, and I scheduled the opposite day from the Cold Turkey tournament.  This will be a fundraiser event for the Disc Golf Alley Club, but it will otherwise be a cash-only payout event.  No merch will be at the event unless there is a request to bring something ahead of time.  If I have any Destroyers left after Chains of Pain I'll probably bring those.

FORMAT:
This event is a traveling singles event that will visit 4 courses and play 1 round at each.  3 of the courses are 9-hole courses, and 1 course is 18 holes.  We will start at Clark Park in Elk Grove Village, IL, and we then travel to Goose Lake Park in Roselle, IL.  After that everyone travels to Shady Oaks Park in Streamwood, IL (18-hole course).  The final course will be Sunny Hill Park in Streamwood, IL.  Depending on the time, a lunch break will either be before or after Shady Oaks.

REGISTRATION:
7:30-8:00 AM, Players Meeting: 8:15 AM, Tee Time shortly thereafter.  We will try to finish all 4 courses by 4pm with sunset expected around 4:30.

ENTRY FEES:
Upper (PDGA 900 and above) - $15.00
Lower (PDGA 899 and lower) - $15.00

This is a FUNDRAISER event for The Disc Golf Alley Club.  $5 of each entry fee will go to the club.  The remaining money will go towards the position payouts.

PRE-REGISTRATION:

would i assume correctly that there will be no temp holes for this event due to pace of play and daylight?

no temps, no merch, hopefully no foul weather :)  It's just going to be a grip it and rip it day, more than likely from all just the standard tees.  We may have a little bit more time this year as opposed to driving a total of maybe 30 miles last year to hit all five 9-hole courses.  Eric and his entourage worked out all of the scores and positioning while in the car on the way to the next course.  There were only 9 people at the tournament so it was a little bit easier to do the administrative work.

$3 ace fund that will be good for all 4 courses.  I haven't played the new Streamwood course yet, so I don't know what hole the CTP throwoff will be... probably hole 1 at that course if no one hits on anything else.

hope to see a bunch of people out there in the morning :)  Weather should be nice.  I visited all four courses on Friday, and they are all in great shape.

Max capacity 45 people.  Only $15 to play, $5 goes to Disc Golf Alley Club, remainder goes to position payouts (all cash payouts).

Hopefully will be more of a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.  I intend to have some fun :)
