Was fortunate to see a few of his shots during the first round. Unreal! Think he shot a -13 or -14 the first round. Super nice kid with a hell of a disc golf future ahead of him.

it was SO fun watching him throw a roller down #14!!! The snap he puts on that disc was literally amazing...I wish I wouldn't have played and just watched the groups and enjoyed it for what it was...but starting with registration I got stressed out from un-organization and the 2nd round the stress of the tournament was affecting my round...its not big deal though, I still had fun and learned ALOT....im debating on continuing with events though, becuase mike Z is moving back to his hometown....did you enjoy the tournament at least? ....that food is getting at me today  ;D

Great job Mike and crew!  The tourney was well run and thanks for the lunch and water.  I also think it was a good idea shortening up the longer holes the 2nd round.  We would have never gotten done.  Nikko showed why he is the #1 disc golfer in the World and absolutely smashed the entire Open field of 25. As for the CE Eagle and several of Nikko's discs I hope you get them back.  And for those who complain....watch what you say to td's, organziers, and volunteers.  These people spend their free time putting together something fun, competitive, and for you.  Running a tournament takes a lot of time, thought, and effort.  It is too bad when td's/volunteers stop running events because of a  few rotten apples.  Hopefully Mike countinues running tournaments. Thanks again Mike!

They were stolen out of Tournament Central....he had his disc organizer out and they were stolen from his selling stack...the CE Eagle was supposed to be a auction type thing for a friend of Mike Z's and it disappeared....its unfortunate that people have to steal little things to make themselves feel better. I hope guilt catches up to them or someone finds the theif, I don't know what was stolen from Nikko but the CE eagle was a dayglo yellow with rainbow stamp, brand new I believe so if anyone see's anyone trying to sell it here in the midwest tell me please!!

As for the tournament, I am glad you guys had fun! The holes HAD to be shortened, we were actually talking at dinner about what we would have done if we didn't think about shortening the holes....it would have not been fun! lol....hopefully our next event we will be alot more prepared, I know personally I will be, and hopefully I will be an Official so I don't need Mike Z there for it to be a PDGA event, he is moving back to his hometown in Munster so he will be back over with the Lemon Lake boys!

I would suggest having the group ahead spot for the group behind on holes 8, 12 and 14. After group A throws their upshot on holes 8 and 12, have the group behind tee off and spot for them. Group A finishes up, Group B throws upshots then spots for Group C and so on. On hole 14 you have to wait for them to tee off on 15, so instead have the group tee off on 14 before they tee off on 15. This could save about an hour on the round and leave time for two rounds from the longs.
