Club website is moving from Yahoo's servers TODAY! (yay!)

I'm happy to report that within the next 36 hours all WWW traffic for the Club site, discontinuum.org, will be 100% directed towards our new server.



So - Danny, Jim, Paul, etc.... Forward any email you wish to keep to [your-mailbox-name]@discontinuum.rafansrule.org and it will be waiting for you.

Oh, in the off chance that you have an @discontinuum.org email address from Yahoo and you did not get in to transfer your email or whatever, you can get to your old email box by going to http://mailsender.net/



Other than forwarding each message individually and copying/pasting contact info I don't think there is a way to get your old messages off of Yahoo's servers... :|

I am happy to report that the transfer of the domain is complete, discontinuum.org is now 100% running off of my server.

I'm not sure if Yahoo's servers would let your forward your mail to office@discontinuum.org from your mailbox on their server for the reason that their server may still think it's supposed to be handling email for the domain.



Messages forwarded to office@discontinuum.rafansrule.org will get into the office@discontinuum.org mailbox, for example, that resides on my server. You can and should continue to use the office@discontinuum.org mailbox.

I have a massive address book in that account. Massive IMPORTANT archived messages. Crap crap crap!

I guess I'll have to spend the holiday forwarding about 500 messages.

So, exactly what are the new email addresses? Should folks no longer send mail to "office@discontinuum.org"? If not, what is address?  "office@discontinuum.rafansrule.org"?

Well I agree with what your saying, but I would prefer that option to making Mr. Gates cackle with glee! Besides all you have to do is get an Aim account not an AOL account, and its not like Im asking you to even use their client... Jabber all the way baby!
