Disc Golf Live

The community TV station serving these towns recently started broadcasting Disc Golf Live video magazine.  The show is usually seen Wed. evenings, starting between 7 and 7:30, plus some other times as well.  The station, UPTV,  is available through Comcast on channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse on channel 99.  Tune in when you get a chance and let folks at the station know you're watching.

If you've got a station in your town, get in touch with the staff and find out what it takes to submit a program for broadcast.    (Copies of Disc Golf Live are free to our broadcast partners.)  There are stations all over the country and most will allow local residents to submit material for broadcast, but it takes a local resident so the DGL crew can't do more than provide the programming and encourage local disc golf activists to get involved.  You know who you are.

For those who don't have public access in town, you can get your fix via Scott Pitner, who has DVD copies of our shows on hand.  Thanks for supporting growth of DG, Scott.

Here's the scoop on the latest offering...

The stories in our 38th episode range from top tournaments to far-away grassroots efforts at growing our game.  On the Amateur side, we've got a couple pieces from the 2010 United States Amateur Championship on Michigan's Toboggan course.  From the Pro side, we've got action from the just-completed 2010 United States Championship, from South Carolina, highlighted by a stunning final-round Ace by Nate Sexton.  From the folks at the ClashDVD Series, we've got action from Blue Ribbon Pines DGC in Minnesota, where four great players square off in a doubles match.  And finally, we're off to Tanzania for our farthest flung disc golf adventure to date.

Best regards,

Joe
