Brett, about basket A. The base is still in the ground, but the basket was broken off at lock collar. Collar and lock still there.

I was able to contact Mike Trigg today of the Waukegan Park District. He said they did nothing with the basket so it's stolen. They are going to order a new one and replace it in a month or so.

I also talked to him about the bridge. They are going to put more rocks to make it easier to cross.

I told Mike I was concerned about the path from C to #9 leading in front of #9 tee pad. He wasn't sure why a new path was cut and he'd take care of it.

Good work, Brett.

Although the rock path across the water is a nice idea, it seems a little dangerous. We had a few slips in our group. Do you think they'll use those really big rocks that located by the baseball diamond (if they can get them over there)?

Those are some nice rocks!  :P

Good luck to them getting them over there. Heavy machinery I'm assuming.

I think Bevier is the hardest course in the world now!  how else could it hold a doubles team of the caliber of mirth and myself to -3 and -4 on successive weeks.  When u put so many chains in a basket that its more like a force field than a target, and u make the basket smaller than the bucket i carry my Halloween candy in, then it makes it tough to make a putt   :P

trees, bushes, whatever have really filled in nicely. no question it makes thoes gaps a bit smaller, 7, 8, 9 for example

seems nate didn't have a problem with it

After leagues today I stayed and took some more pics of the course. I'm almost done. All I have are holes 9 & A when it's back in the ground.

I aslo put new flays & orange tape on the basket.

I have completed all pictures of Bevier except Hole A. Once A's basket is back in the ground, i'll upload them to the image gallery & have Jay get the Bevier page up & running.

The shackles have been removed from the Bevier baskets. Thanks Adrian Sr. for cutting them out. We will be reusing the chains at Fairfield.

Sure....after Adrian Sr. does a little "schooling" in the White Division he goes and makes some changes...I see how it goes. Just another way for Illinois to keep Wisconsin down  ;)

I was actually pretty fortunate with the chains. They were fairly nice to me. But the baskets...are you sure they're regulation?  :D

Don't know if Sr. reads these, but thanks for all your help.

It was a Wisconsonite that put them in there in the first place. It's not an Illinois conspiracy!
