Unfortunately, I'll be in Chicago with Mirth and some friends watching one of the best bands in the world play at the Vic.  Sorry, but I never miss these guys when the come around town.

Are you gonna tell us the name of the band?

Yep, Jon's right.  It's Sound Tribe Sector 9 with Realized Intention (a DJ group).  Should be a good show.  We're taping it, so if anyone wants a copy, they'll have to talk to Mirth.

Anyone have any extra glow sticks that you're selling tonight?

If anyone is interested in picking up glow sticks, I found this site that I bought 100 1.5" GREEN sticks for $16. Follow this LINK.

You can choose your color of stick, which you can't at a number of other places.

If people need some I'd be willing to sell some at the rounds.

Sure, every Friday at just about dark.
Friday Glow Disc is one of the few things I miss.
I plan on playing glow at Token soon though.

I hear ya there Pat.  I guess there's a group of guys who play glow here but after seeing many snakes, including a 5 1/2' long rattlesnake a couple weeks ago, and having that pond which I'm sure is home to many a man eating creature, I'll hold off on the glow rounds thanks...maybe if I ever get back up there again I'll play with ya guys.

Pat's right....Every Friday night. We meet in the parking lot about 8:30 and start about 9:00. It's been getting darker earlier, so you might want to stop by sooner. If you don't come with glow sticks, someone usually has a few extra for sale.

where can u buy the glow sticks?

You can buy glow sticks:

1. In sporting goods stores, fishing dept.

2. E-bay.

3. On line stores. Just type glow sticks in the search.

4. Someone there will part with some.

I prefer buying on line. I can get the green 1 1/2 inch sticks for about 10 cents each. If I buy in quantity, like 250.

Green seem to be the easiest to see. Red and yellow are not bad. Stay away from blue and purple.

They play a round for money. $5, unless it has changed.

It's random draw doubles. First place takes the whole pot. I think in the past, if there's more than six teams, second place gets their $5 back.

Someone always has extra sticks. I just stocked up so I'd be happy to sell some.
