Switch it up at leagues

i wonder...

have the board members ever considered maybe a one disc or two disc day for leagues? maybe once every 5 leagues?

i think it would be really interesting to see the scores, and you can REALLY get too know your plastic (as in one). seems like it would be good times!

I have suggested different games other than straight best shot. Alternating shot is one of my faves but even switching to no solo best shot would be fun in my opinion. I'm a big proponent in the "if you run it, you should have a say in how its run" system of volunteerism. Brett doesn't want to fall into the trap of fixing something that isn't broke. Our leagues have been successful, so Brett doesn't want to risk losing people because they don't like the changes.

Brett runs league and I don't, so I'm ok deferring to him on how leagues will be run. (That won't stop me making suggestions, of course!)

That has been my philosophy with everything I do but i'm always up for new ideas. We do have quite a few days off for holidays this year. There are still a lot of people that come out to play though. Maybe we can try an experimental day on a day off. We are growing & averaging more people each year, i'd hate to do something to set us back.
