Would you play this whacky format?

C-tier sanctioned singles.

Two rounds.

Minimum PDGA payouts.  No player pack.

Optional Nine-Hole Side Game for any amateur who finishes in the prizes.

This is the whacked part:

In the Side Game 9 you are playing for cash against other players in your division who finished in the prizes and opt in.  You opt in by turning down your prizes.  Your prize voucher now becomes a cash voucher and it is part of the payout.  Everyone starts anew with their score at zero.  Remember, everyone who opts in will go home with cash instead of prizes.  Once you opt in you are in the cash, it's just a matter of how much.

A scenario.

20 players in your division pay $30 each as their entry fee.  This is the PDGA C-tier minimum payout:

Straight - Rounded

1    $81    $80
2    $71    $70
3    $67    $65
4    $57    $55
5    $52    $50
6    $48    $50
7    $38    $40
8    $33    $35
9    $29    $30

You know last place is getting in.  If he finishes last again, he turns his prize voucher into cash.  I would think 7, 8 and 9 would get in because last cash is probably better than their prizes.  Cocky players at the top might get in because, hey, I've been beating these chumps all day; it's time to make some beer money.

For the TD, he covers his $2 PDGA fees and makes about $4 per player for sanctioning, trophies and miscellaneous expenses.  20 players should be a break even point.

It appears that it is AMs playing for money. I would like all AM formats to be player pack only and trophies. I would like to see the days of Ams winning 20 discs at an event end.

20 disc winning pack would be sweet!!!!

Seems messed up to me. Is this an under the table way for Ams to play for cash?
