Course Routing Change:
Holes 19-24 are going to be played in a different order to cut down on some extra walks. These are labeled A-F and will be played in the order A-F. For those familiar with the course: A=22 B=23 C=24 D=19 E=21 F=20
After 18, walk past the picnic table basket and take a right to the tee for A(22).  Course flows naturally from there: B(23), C(24), D(19). After hole D(19), Go across road to south and play E(21). From there proceed toward hole 1 to F(20). After F(20), walk back up hill to hole 1 to resume normal course flow.

Hole A(22), B(23), E(21), F(20): On/Over walking path along river is OB.
Hole B(23): On/Over walking path along river is OB. Drop Zone must be used for throws from the tee that go OB. Path under road is IB. Do not play from the top of the cliff. Casual relief is granted to a safe location back away from edge.  For any lie after the initial tee shot a player has the option to take Optional relief and proceed to the drop zone for a one stroke penalty. Lost discs may also use the drop zone with the normal penalty. Some disc positions result in impossible lies (e.g. when stuck in a crack on the wall face). 1/2m relief is allowed from the cliff wall. Please spot for group behind you before proceeding to Hole C(24).
Hole E(21)-Alt: Road and Left is OB. Islands and right of road is IB. For Islands, if you go OB, next lie is from drop zone or where last over inbounds area right of road until you land on a given island. After that normal OB rules apply for that island. Normal OB rules for right of road.

I hope you all had fun at the IOS #70 Sinnissippi Open. Awesome to see 185 players out for the weekend. Sinnissippi Park is a great course even after the storm damage from earlier in the week. Special thanks to Rod Fritz, the Sterling Park District, and other local players that took time out of their week to help clean up the course. Kudos also to Case and Heather Jackson and others from the Valet Kings crew who stuck around to help get packed up. That extra help is very much appreciated.

We'd also like to thank our sponsors: Fade Gear, Air Play Sports, and the Rusty Fox. You can visit them online, or even better when you are in Sterling make sure you stop in, give them your business, and say "Hello".
