Lost Item to be returned

As many of you know, each year I get a group of friends together to take over the Sandy Point Disc Golf Resort in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.  Last year was very bad for me.  I lost my wallet on the course on the second to last day of our vacation, just before they asked us to pay the bill.  I nearly started to cry when I realized how much cash I had just lost, and that I couldn't pay.  Waldo was kind enough to let me right a post dated check though, so I could cover the costs.  He also said that it would most likely turn up sometime the following year, but that they couldn't guarantee anything and couldn't be held liable.  I completely understood, but was still mortified.  Since then, I had forgotten about it.  Well, I just got a great reminder from Michele Cozzens.

I have some very good and FUNNY news for you. Remember your lost
wallet? Today it was found on hole #19--the car hole.
It's completely intact (money and all) but, well, weathered to say the
least. The guy who found it is so cool, a semi-regular here and wants
very much to know your reaction. I have his information. Just want to
know your current address so we can send it to you. Perhaps you can
"heal" the cash and maybe get a bank to help you out in making it
redeemable.

Your 2003 PDGA card is in it!

Loved thinking of you today and hope we hear back from you asap so we
can get this long, lost item back to you!

P.S. This is why I always tell golfers to put their names on their
DISCS! Guess the same holds true for wallets!

A bank will trade your old money for new as long as it is still recognizable as money and that you still have at least 51% of each bill that you want to trade in.

Something like $600 I believe.  We had paid the down payment for the trip when we setup with them.  And that was the amount that was left over.
