Yes. I would love to lend the basket to you for this great event. So long as it is returned to me before the day is done.

I think we'll be having the Brakels that spell their name Chaumont at the Widdershins this year.

If they stick to the 18 hole & 24 hole concept with each division playing both courses, they will only be able to accomodate 180 players. PDGA sanctioning rules have a max of 5 per hole. The 18 hole course limits a 5'some per hole. They could however have a division only play the 24 hole course twice making room for more players. the 24 hole course can hold 120 players. I'm not sure what they are doing tough since this came from Ebz & not the TD. Let's hope 200 show. I could see it happening.

We have ~60 player's packs for the Widdershins in, each one is an Element and a tourney stamped Wizard plus a pumpkin mini and sticker.

People playing in the Widdershins can preregister in person at league next Sunday and receive their player's pack then. Folks who aren't playing in the tournament can either purchase a player's pack for $20 and sponsor one women's player's pack or you can pay the entry fee for your typical division and it will be put into that division's prize pool.

Players packs are on a first come first served basis both in advance and day of event.

First come first serve on weights of discs in the players pack?

mirth

The players packs are pre assembled, most of the discs are in the 170s. A couple elements are 155 but those are the blue ones.

I hate to ask a silly question, but what is an Element?  I see that the Wizard is a putter but cannot find an Element on Gateway's website or that of any of the on-line disc venders.  I know that zinc is an element and so is oxygen.  But can they fly?

mirth

The Element is a brand new mold Gateway has. If you've ever thrown a Roc, its best described as a cross between a flat top Roc and a Wasp. Its a little wider than a regular disc, max legal weight is almost 184g.

I was throwing one at league yesterday and could get it to hold a line w/a little left fade at the end.

Mirth, do you got an extra element... heavy... that you could send to me, or hook up with me some time with?

Not going to be able to make this event as it is the same day as the AM Howler at Dreska.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

mirth

Yup, I'll have extra Elements and Wizards left over after the event. Most are 175+

They may spell it Chaumont but they pronounce it Show Moe!

Are they confirmed attendees?  That could change my plans for that weekend.

Yep. Lynn, Charles, and Meris. They are bringing Special Guest Eric the former youth minister (actually he might still be a youth minister, but he is Meris' former youth minister who now lives in Illinois).

If it helps sway you Shawn, I will be running an open cash division. Of course, I don't really expect a huge turnout while I'm sure Joe will have a bunch up @ Dretzka...
