Brought a friend out Tuesday night to show her how to play.  We threw a couple of discs in the open area between the practice basket and the UWP sign.  I left my KC Pro Roc out there (duh).  When we got back we looked for it, but it was gone.
*sigh*

Dyed orange with a stencil of a Roc on it with the words "Roc On" dyed under it.  I think I had my name and number on the rim.  I think.  I hope.

Too bad we don't have one of those little smiley faces that is hitting itself in the forehead with it's hand.  That would be useful in this type of situation.

It's one thing to lose a disc in a forest or a marsh, it's quite another to leave a disc in the middle of a well manicured open field and being too scatterbrained to pick it up again.  d'oh...

o well it happens , one time a certain disc golfer, eddie, threw my green discraft on a roof that was 150 feet away from the basket.. wow hes bad

Hopefully it was that your company was distracting you from logical thought processes.  :P

Maybe you and Fallon should talk...I first met him by finding his discs lying in the middle of fairways. Yes, I said discs...plural...this happened more than once.

Yep, I lose most of my disc in the middle of the fairway...sad, but when u throw the whole bag you remember where the ones went off the fairway and figure you'll find the easy ones..  not.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

When returning one, or two, or three of Shawn's discs is how most people who play Parkside regularly meet Shawn for the first time.

Last night I was playing BG and caught up to Josh and some other guys. I played hole 9 with them and Josh turned a blue viking over and went into the ugly shule on the right side of #9. While we were looking I said "It's just a matter of luck if we find it. This stuff is so thick there could be a disc right here in this thick bush at my feet and I'd never know it unless I stuck my hand in there." I proceeded to demonstrate that I couldn't see anything and fished around with my hand in the bush. I felt a disc and pulled out a white JK Valk! It took another 10 minutes or more before someone found the Viking, but I thought that was pretty funny. Now if only I had said before putting my hand in the bush, "Nothing up my sleeve..."  :D

Not so lucky.  Just a friend who was interested in learning how to play.   :P
