if im not mistaken, the tee for hole 8 on top of the hill has been set in concrete...

i ventured up there in the first week or so of may, to find what looked like some fresh concrete...

Played Warren today on the way home. Still a 7 hole course.

I did find it funny that in the information I received today that Warren is thinking about expanding it's course. This material is dated 11/04/05.

There are a few words about Disc Golf in the summer 2006 Warren Township News that i got in the mail yesterday. It states "Disc golf updates in progress.Holes eight and nine of our disc golf course are being revamped to make the course more challenging, something disc golfers have requested." They give no date or timeframe when it will be completed.

Has anyone been here recently? Are all 9 in? There's a group from our church hitting a couple of courses on the way up to Wisconsin next week. We were going to do Libertyville and Gurnee in the am and UW-Parkside in the afternoon. If Gurnee only has 7 holes, I may have to make a different plan for the morning.

Maybe play Grayslake instead, not too far out of the way from Adler. Take 137 West to where it ends & joins 83. Take 83 to Center Street, turn left, immediate right on library lane. The course in back in the woods NW of the pool, behind the school.

Or do Adler and then Bevier and then Parkside.  That's kind of just a straight shot North and may be easier on the travel times.

Played Warren today, hole 8 is now open, a little shorter than the original but still cool from the top of the hill.  They took out some of the cat tails.  I was told that 9 should be reopened but couldn't find it.

Tom McManus

Tom,  Is the basket in for hole number 9?

DiscGolfSchodt

I walked around but couldnt find it ???

Tom McManus

It sounds like someone took or tossed the two baskets that were taken out.  They then took the practice basket and moved it to the hole 8 location. That stinks.  The practice basket made for a couple of nice alternate holes.

Lake County continues to be a hot bed of disc golf baby! I absolutely love the new and updgraded hole #8 at Warren. There is nothing better than walking to the top of sled hill and throwing a putter. Fantastic thought went in to the basket placment, SWEET :P

don't be angry at the sled hill hole just because you took a double circle 6!!!   ;D

its hard to have a solid hot bed without holes like that.

Played this course a lot recently.

Someone in the Park District building told me Hole 9 hasn't been built yet after I looked around for it.

I'm not particularly good and I find this course really easy. Anyone else?
