rockford winter league

a week late on getting this one - but our winter league has started and will be going through the begining of april.  it is every sunday at 10am, five dollar random draw doubles.   awards for perfect attendance (sorry), best average, and most points.   also the ace pool gets about thirty or so added a week so it can get very big early on, and with everything being in the short or most visible position some holes can be very easily hit.  e.g. hole 17, a straight 210 foot level shot.

the ace pool is definetly getting larger, probally one hundred fifty or so.  i got all the scores posted on our website - just google grabm disc golf and it should take you right there.

i still havent gotten word back from carl, our league director, but chances are real good that league will be up and running the day after christmas.  i was rapping at some guys from stevens point at the janesville league on saturday about coming down and they seemed stoked about the everything we got going on.  what i want to do is get as many people in rockford the day after christmas (or any other day) as possible.  i checked the forecast and it looks like tis going to be highs in the mid 60's with a light 5mph breeze that smells like female goodness, so no excusses.  more info as becomes available.....
