I hit #8 during a tag round after leagues today. Sun was in my eyes so I didn't actually see it  :P .

My 1st Ace during an actual round - 10x Pro Teebird with the custom Pat Wood dye job  B) - had just brought it out for the winter after putting the white ones in hibernation (though all the snow had melted after all). I was so cranked I didn't even care that my subsequent drive on B2 landed in the creek.  :P

Later in our group Sean Butler aced #24 in the same round. His landed flat in the basket and barely hit any chains.
thanks,
Damon

Since he said that was his first in an actual round, I'd call that one, number one.

Nice ace Damon!

Diana hit #4 at Squirrel today which normally would not be much to report, except she's left handed and she hit it throwing righty.  She also set the off-handed women's Cali record there, shooting an 18 for 9 holes.

We are both playing off-handed [bad-handed? Is there a term for this concept?] because of bad tendonitis.

I had one other at Parkside last year sometime but I was just throwing by myself so I guess it wasn't legitimate. I retired the disc though, which I won't do with the one today since the 10x KC Teebird is pretty hard to come by.  ;) (the first one was 'just' a DX Roc.)

From the sound of the one today you could say the basket was just in the way, in the way that most aces are (my pathetic rationalization for never hitting an 'official' one before) ; Sean's really made a soft landing in the basket though.
thanks,
Damon

Nice Ace Damon. We could hear it right when Mike C. was driving on C2. I also heard the yells when Sean B. hit his. Good round of tags today. 8 players. Too bad no good #'s stuck around :P .

Nice Ace.  Yeah, you guys were pretty pumped.  We figured that either somebody hit an ace or the squirrels found some half empty beer cans in the forest.  Its a progression Damon.  First a private round, then a tag round.  Next one will net you some $.  Good going.

Cool!! thanks Damon
