Alot of very tight short holes in the woods.  There are a couple longer ones, but pretty much everything is very short.  There are alot of mando holes which turn at 90 degree angles which makes for dumb holes as you can't deuce them but they are really easy to three.

Roc & Putter course. Very very short. The mandos are interesting adn there are quite a few. You need some trick shots and forehanders to score well on this course. A forehand cut roller can pick you up a few birdies. There are Red/White tees. Not all have a Red Tee (Longs)

Shorewood rules

Nate and Heeren where the only two people to deuce hole 2 at the shootout, awesome hole.

I was the only one to deuce 5 from the long :)

You make it sound like an easy course, I know there are about 3-4 long ones out there

I don't think it's that easy of a course. It's very short & a technical course. I'd like to see the local routes. There are 2 holes that I had to drive with my Orc at full power. Other than those 2 holes, everything was in comfort range.

What holes do you want to see the "local routes" on?

What did you throw on 2 Brett? Valk?

I'd just like to see what shots are thrown on each hole by competitive players to see if there are some i missed.

I threw a safe shot to the corner left of the mando tree. I think i threw my beat CE Firebird.

This is one of my favorite technical courses. A great course to play on a hot sunny day also. I once beat Bruce at Shorewood like 8 times in one day.

i thought the course was really kind of boring.  the shots were ok, but the course itself is really flat without much to look at.

how does one define a 'technical' course.  by technical are we just saying you have to throw straight.

I usually define a technical course as a course where on most holes you must follow defined routes and if you stray from those routes you will be in trouble. Usually there isn't much room to open up and throw long and often a variety of shots off the tee are needed to score well.

I would have to agree with Jon. It's a short technical Roc & Putter course. You have to have great touch on many shots or you'll find yourself in trouble. You also have to have a wide variety of trick shots to birdie seveal holes.

I played out at Shorewood today and actually thought it was a blast.  I liked the mando holes and ended up shooting 4 over par (all par 3's, despite the signs reading fours and fives)  Ehhh... I'll work on it.  Similar to West Park and only about 15 minutes from there.  I think this will make a great combo when i can get out to DG.  It was very crowded but moved quickly.
This will give me the opportunity to work on my 180 foot shot that just never stays straight.

i know the board readers are not the ones doing the littering but there should be a no food no drink no smoking rule at this course

That course has always been more of a Beer with a side of Disc Golf kinda course. There are a decent amount of garbage cans, but what can you do?
