Worlds Biggest Disc Golf Weekend

Hello all!   Wanted to give you all a heads up on a fun time; on the second weekend of may Anna Page Park will be hosting a Worlds Biggest event.  For twelve dollars you get a disc, shirt, and other various prizes.  Along with the gifts we play a pro/ am round to show newbies and less experienced players the potential for growth in the sport.  We pay out top third to the winners but kick down some prizes to the last place folks as well just to ensure everyone gets a little something for the time and effort.  If you are intrested in attending give me an idea of what kind of disc color and weight you want so i can put them aside for you.

What time?  Is that the 7th and 8th or 14th and 15th?  May 1st is a Sunday so does that count as the first weekend

it is the weekend of the 14th & 15th, sorry for any confusion.  On saturday we will start the day with a course clean up, then play some random doubles or 't-rex-sabre-wolf' once were done cleaning and clearing.   we'll start the 'worlds biggest' on sunday morning, which will be one round and we'll probally have a competitve round thereafter.

its casual at anna page - if you show at eight in the morning people will be there probally playing a small game of skins or something.  the event will start when we think that no other people will show, normally around nine thirty.  i can get you a specific time from carl, but if it is adhered to that day i will be very suprised.  

i do encourage all of you to come, we got a lively crowd and were not afraid to have a good time early in the morning.  i will get all the info that's available in a few days...

Is there still the mid-summer bring your partner doubles tournament at Anna Page this year?

oh yea, i dont know the date but it is still in full effect.  i will get the date tonight when we play or mid week doubles league.  for anybody intrested it is at 6pm tonight!

for those wondering about the worlds biggest - the date is actually may 14 & 15.

Hey, I would really love to go, but I cant drive that far out there.  Anyone willing to carpool from crystal lake or surrounding area?  Ill pay for gas.

Im not really that far away, but Im afraid of getting lost on the interstates and stuff.  If anyone wants to go with me with would be great!

if you got any sense of direction i can get you there.  simply take randall rd south until you hit hwy 90.  take hwy 90 north until you get to rockford exits.  take the us 20 exit going west bound.  take that about ten miles and exit onto montaghue rd, go a block on montagghue and turn left on springfield.  take springfield north about 2 miles and you are there.  simple enough right?  if you honestly need someone to direct you from the highway to here i'll be that guy, hit my pm and we'll work something out.
