Orange 166 Z-Talon, which I've never found a backup for, went into the pond on #19; too deep to even think about recovering. Got a 168, but it doesn't fly the same...

Lousy end to a mediocre 2nd round today, although my 1st one was pretty good. shoulda known better to throw it when I did.    :(

Has my name and phone #, as they all do; I imagine it'll get recovered eventually, but I don't expect to ever see it again. 2003 Standing Rocks stamp.
thanks,

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Damon, I have a 167 Z-Talon you can have. I used it for thumbers for awhile so it's pretty beat. If your lost talon was on the flippy side this should be a good substitute.

...so I desperately ordered an 'opaque' 166 z-talon, which arrived from GottaGoGottaThrow today...

it's gummier than the one I lost (although if that other one is ever recovered from the lagoon in Lombard it's bound to be gummier  :P ), so it's probably 'newer' than 2002/3, but it definitely flies differently than the semi-clear IOS 168 I've got. And, pretty close to the one I'm still (though somewhat less) mourning for....

I'd still pay to get the orange one back though. Within reason.

The 150 Z-Talons fly nice and overstable.  They have become Kelsey's go-to hyzer disc.  Test throw one at Crystal Lake if I still have them by then.
