Small turnout this year but a good time - certainly better for me than in years past. I really wish I could play those courses more than once a year, but it's a long haul for a casual round.

Jose tore it up in the final 9 in Adv and finished 2nd by one shot. Brett had his typical strong showing but probably wishes he'd played better in the finals  ;) .

Chris Heeren passed Ed Burde in the Open finals to win by one.

Only 4 guys in the extremely old division. I shot 14 better than last year but could only make 2nd. Much better than DFL though! The winner was a local guy who has a forehand of Pat Wood proportions.

The preliminary ratings are pretty funny. I was frustrated w/ a 58 at Bradley since I ran out of gas and had stupid tee shots/bogeys on my last 2 holes, but there's no way that was a 948 round - although the GM winner (with a 53!) and I beat up the Masters and all of the Ints that round.  :P  Also, the GMs all agreed to play the concrete tees the 3rd round at McNaughton, so the scores vs. the Masters are deceiving; and w/ only 4 players in the pool, it probably won't get rated, which suits me just fine.  ;)
thanks,

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Just got home a little while ago. Stopped by the parents for some home cooking.

Those 3 courses are awesome! I had a blast this year. I shot 5 strokes better than last year. This morning I shot a hot round of 48 at Bradley to move me from 2nd card to tied for 1st going into the final 9. That was 7 strokes better at Bradley from 2004. Heeren shot the best round of -7 at Bradley so I feel pretty good about that round. I shot 3 strokes better at McNaughton. I had a tourney buster 7 on one of the final 9 holes which put a fork in me. Jose tore it up in the finals & now has tag #1. He played the final 9 almost perfectly except 1 putt which cost him a stroke & a tie for the lead. The price was right for this tourney. $30.00 to play 3 championship calibur courses over 2 days. The Wallis family did a great job as usual running the event & the payouts were good. No sunglasses thise year ;) .

i am sure that a 6 down at bradley should be 1000 rated, but those preliminary ratings that are up on the Tour page are all jacked up because they assume that every division played the same course each round.  thats why all the ADV division has low ratings for the 1st round where we played the hardest course (mcnaughton) and the other divisions played the easier courses.  Burde's 2 down at Mcnaughton (round 2) will be rated much much higher once the actual ratings come out.
