Huge turnout at West Park today.  59 Adv. players

Brett took 2nd.  I think Damon was 3rd.  I was 20th.  Spike cashed in Pro master with a 3rd place finish.  Steve Waters was there but I'm not sure where he finished.  Butler finished just outside the cash in Pro.  Bingman was 2nd in Pro master and Nastiness finished the tournament this time   :D   I think that was all the club players.   The Lumber Cup was dirty and humid  :)   I think Gary profited some serious bank today too.

I was 3rd in adv gm; didn't cash as there were only 4 guys (missed 2nd by one, 1st by 3), but if I'd played in the 'younger' am division I'd have tied for 3rd there out of 8 or so and won something (just what I need - more plastic...or maybe a key chain...).

I think I might have been the only 'non-pro' player to actually have a better score from the long tees than the shorts.   (obviously doesn't say much for my first round.)

If we'd played for tags I think I might have moved up some. Oh well...  :P

was fun to play West Park again, hadn't been over there for a couple of years. I'd have gotten nailed by a drive on #22 while I was in the can if I hadn't planned ahead and made sure the door was closed.

A guy from Peoria brought up a disc I'd lost at McNaughton last week. Also left another one on the ground during today's 2nd round in the midst of my only real disastrous hole and I got that back too, so karma is generally good.
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Fun tournament with huge turnout. 59 Advanced players is insane. Gotta get runs of birdies to do well. Had an skip on hole #8 go into the chains an out for a near ace. Holmquist was on fire with 9 in a row the 2nd round to put the rout on.

Well, it only took two months, but the results are finally on the PDGA site. No round ratings though.
