Man! What a great course. This is by far the best course that I have played. There were a wide variety of shots. Options for multiple pin placements & short/long tees make this course very challenging. There were many wooded holes but all had a line to get through. It was not very hard finding discs in the rough either. (I love this because I always end up there) The course is maintained big time. I want to go back tomorrow!

This is definitely my new favorite course.  Dretzka makes you use every shot in your arsenal and come up with some new ones.  I especially liked the alternate pin placements on each hole.  I was also impressed with the cleanliness of such a large course.  Dretzka is definitely worth the drive up to Milwaukee for a couple rounds of disc.

I think it would make for a great Safari site, also shot today here and loved the new Pro pads.  We shot a doubles and shot a 4down which is not bad/not great.  The added difficulty is sweet almost dueced #16 from the Pros, drove to 35 feet but had a low branch 14 feet in front of the lie and hit the pole for the duece.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

I case anyone was planning a trip to Dretzka.....

THIS SATURDAY, March 8th...

... will be the LAST WEEK of the

DRETZKA PARK WINTER LEAGUE 2003

Afte that, the course will be CLOSED for a about 6 weeks this spring, for up-keep

and maintenance, and to prevent the normally high spring time traffic damage and to allow the

rass & vegetation to grow and fill in a bit before the full blown summer Disc Golf Season begins!

PLEASE stay off the course and allow the course to heal itself during this sensitive time.

The plan is to close the course thru (approx.) MAY 15th.

This may change by a day here or there depending on weather conditions this spring.

A great alternative course that will be open all spring is UW PARKSIDE.

Check in occasionally here @ GLDGC.COM for any changes or updates!

I went and played this course for the first time over the weekend.  It was just after a rainstorm so the humidity was extremely high, but thankfully it wasn't too hot out.

I was pretty impressed with the course!  I know a lot of you already know that it's a good course, but I just wanted to give my props to the hard work done on the course.  I was 8 over on the first 9 holes, and only 3 over on the last 9 for a total of 11 over.  Not good for many of your standards, but very good for mine (especially on first time at the course).  A lot of the baskets were in the blue position, and that made the course pretty tough!

Almost had my first Ace on hole 10... man that would have been sweet!

Just played here for the first time today.  All 27 holes are open for the season!!!  Man, this course is the shiznit!  Really strong mix of skills required to play well.  Played 3 rounds.  +1, +4, +3.  I couldn't miss today so that made the place that much better!  I will definitely be coming here again soon.  Well kept up park, clearly signed.  Can't say enough about this place!  Can't wait to play worlds here!
That kid is back on the escalator!!!
