Matzen Lake Open

This will be on a temp. course.   The course plays around a 75+acre piece of land. The land is totally private. The owner lives in the middle of the property by a lake. The lake has a sand swimming area, rope swing, floating dock with diving board and platform high dive. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that there is a water slide on the same beach!!!! Lets see...18 holes=5045+ ft. of cool-a$$, mowed/wooded golf and fun for the whole family......the "Matzen Lake Open"

Sat. September 24rd/sun. September 25th...is the first of hopefully many great tournaments at this property......3 divisions.....

$5 extra if you want in on the ($2)ace and ($3)ctp/ring of fire. We will have some prizes already and your extra $3 will go towards more. 100% of the ctp/rof is paid back. We might do a small player(friendly)pack, not sure yet. I do know that $10 of your entree fee will be donated to the owner for the use of the land......

open pay-out will be cash/am pay-out will be funny money(not a handfull of crap you wont throw)

The course will be set up on Thursday/Friday. Saturday will be for early registration(9:00am to 1:00) and getting to know the course(all day). Swimming, fishing, paddle-boating, or whatever you want. The goal is to have a good time. At 1:00 on Saturday we will play a round of random/doubles for $5....

saturday: pre-registration 9:00am to 1:00pm

Sunday: sign in 8:00am to 9:30am

tee off approx. 10:00am

2 rounds of 18, with a break in the middle too swim/eat.

Bring the family and have a good time at a great place!!
There is a LARGE grill area. So bring your coolers and food.

This will be a good time for all.  We just ask, if you bring it - you take it (beer cans/botles, trash, etc.) There will be trash cans by the teepads and some trash cans to use. We expect a lot of cans to be emptied this certain weekend. Just be respectful of the land and the land owners. This could be the start of an annual thing, spring fling/fall farvest!!!!
