Damon,

I was packing up some boxes for the tourney this weekend and lo and behold, there it was, a mint 171g KC Teebird. This one's $15.00 though (they're going for close to $20 on ebay already). Tell me if you'd like both or just one and which one that might be.

oh what the hey, I'll take them both.
thanks,
Damon

All my CE Eagles are in the 170 range.  I'll dig a couple out and bring 'em to leagues with me.  As far as test throws go, I'll have to say no dice.  Nothing personal, it's just harder to get a good price for a disc (if I sell it to someone else) if it's been thrown.  I do have a CE Eagle that's around the same weight that I can bring with me that you can throw a few times though if that'll work for you.  It's a little worn, but still a great disc and follows pretty much the same flight path.

oh, I figured they were already used! new ones, sure, I understand. I'd like to try that worn one though.

Myk, I plan to be at league on Sunday. If you're there can I try throwing a couple of your *used* ones just to see how they work for me? (nowhere near a tree or the pond, I promise ;) )
thanks,

A new product you can't get anywhere:  Lizard Skins.

Mark Ellis, in his unending search for better grippiness, came up with this idea of stamping a grippy area into the flight plate of the plastic, and has now done a limited run of Lizard Skin discs.  These are great in the rain, or whenever a lot more grip would be good for your throw.  Lizard Skins have been stamped primarily on Magnets, APXs, UV Challengers, Rattlers and Wasps.  If anyone wants a Lizard Skin upshot disc or putter, let me know what weight you like and I'll be your delivery boy.  I think they cost a buck or two more than what you would otherwise pay for the same disc in the same plastic.

Mark made these for himself, but after setting aside a couple dozen discs, he had a couple hundred left over.  Once they are all sold, there is no plan to make any more.

I'll try a 168ish Wasp. non-white if possible.
thanks,
Damon

I bought a few Lizard Skin Wasps and Magnets from Mark tonight.  He refused to deal with me.  If anyone wants one, next time I'm in town I'll let them go for my cost.

Sorry, Damon, since Mark did these primarily for himself, the Wasps are all mid to upper 170s.

enhh...if you've got a used one maybe I can try it next time I see you. Haven't quite adjusted to the 170 I have.

Jay,

Good choice! Being that I already throw the Z Wildcat, I was much more impressed with the Squall - in fact it's already taken a spot in my bag. It's reliably overstable, with extra speed and more distance than say, my Z Wasp (which I love - why would anyone spend $40 or more on a CE Roc?).

Price is $9.75 each as these are priced the same as Champion and Z plastic.

The White Knight - only color I've seen them in so far. I also have a dyed one that was done-up by the Dr, himself. Should be up at the ebay storefront. www.ebaystores.com/sunkingdiscs

OK, I missed the part about the colors for the Riptide...in regards to the "E" Sabre you said "I know the weight, but what's the color?"

I replied white, the only color that I've seen them in and then the whole Dr. Dye thing.

The Riptides are only available in red and yellow so far and in weights of 170-2g and 173-4g.

Jo-Jo,

These look really good for dyeing as it's essentially a hybrid of Discraft X & Z plastics. I already have few set aside for that purpose and will include some on my next shipment to you (for both you and me!).

Damon,

I know have a few 168-9g dyed Champion Eagles (check the ebaystore), but only max weight right now on the non-dyed stuff. I do have a decent supply of 10x Eagles also. As for the 10x Teebirds, they're getting very hard to find, but your in luck, I have a "previously thrown" one with an ink spot on the back. It's a 173g that's about a 7.5/8 out of 10. I'm asking $12.00, but will take $10 if the club wants to put together an order.

sun_king_discs

Damon,

Do you want Champion Eagles or Champion Edition (CE) Eagles?

Shawn,

In the "previously thrown" category, I have neon green 167g KC Eagle that rates about a 8.5/9 out of 10, but has a big name and smiley face drawn on the back and another KC Eagle at 169g that rates in about 7 out of 10 with less writing but a bit more usage. I'd do $10 for the 167g and $8 for the 169g or both for $15.

Champion Cobras will be in stock Thursday or Friday (9/4 or 9/5).

Thanks!

Hey Ya'll, living here in Innova country...  and just got a hold of some new stuff.  The 2 new lines for the holiday season are Champion whippets and Champion stingrays.  The stingrays are sweet.  It might replace a few of my rocs... I'm planning on giving it further testing tomorrow at Kilborne.  Got a few orange Buzz's, thought that it was a nice disc, holds an annie..  holds a hyser..  goes straight and has decent glide for a midrange.

Picked up a ce viper today....they go up to 185, most stable disc I have ever thrown.  Going to tour the Innova factory tomorrow and then play Wintrop with some of the guys.  Got a some good job offers today, so all is real good.  If anyone wants a viper, let me know they where $25 fundraisers but I can get them for 15.... heard that there is a stash of ce classic rocs available also at the factory, going to try to pick up 10 or so.  If anyone is looking for something special, send me a message or call me at 704-604-3553.
