My glow CFR Starfire from the Illinois State tournament is sitting comfortably at the bottom of the pond.  Almost lost my KC Aviar in there right at the edge also, the water was so slimy you couldnt see past the surface at all.

Here is a quick slam of the round ratings for you:

The top 12 pros averaged a 972 rating and shot 113.  Their scores say that their round 2 course was 3 throws harder so 55 is a 972 on the easy course and 58 is a 972 on the harder course.  Last year the slope was nine rating points per throw on the course with more holes so we will use that as this year's probable slope.

Therefore your 82 should rate at 972-((82-58)X9) and your 63 should rate at 972-((63-55)X9).  Doing the math in my head I get 756 and 900.  A quick double check on the 900 shows that 900 rated players did shoot a lot of scores in the 60-66 range so these ratings are probably close, +/-3 points I'd guess.  The other good indicator that these ratings are close is that Kelsey felt like she played non-spectacular control golf all day long, which should be a pair of 825s for her, and you tied her.

Dig this post up in a month when official ratings come out and lets see how close I am on the slam.

Wow; I didn't know how to do it. That's pretty cool, but confusing.

The ratings template will take more than the top 12 pros, and it will calculate an event specific slope, but this should be close.

I just ran the numbers through the excel template and 55 on the temp course is 1001. And a 58 is 1001 on the other course.

Bruce Brakel

If that gives me a pair of 950 rated rounds, that's insane.  I sucked out there!

I think you're pulling my leg but we'll just have to wait until December.

This is what I came up with.  I'm not sure which order your division played so I didn't inlcude them.  But this should give a fairly accurate assessment.
