My birthday is right around the corner so I was thinking of getting a "Carolina" bag from Revolution.  The bag looks sweet and I have heard nothing but good things about Revoution but I am afraid that I may have buyers remorse later.

This is my first year of serious playing and I picked up an Innova Standard bag which holds around 11 in the main compartment (no divider) and room for one putter in the outside pocket.  Right now this is enough for me although there has been a couple times during the year that I said to myself "oh, I left my ____ disc in the car."

My concearn is that I get the "Carolina"  bag and then in the near future I will want to get a bag that holds more than 16 discs.

-Right now I think that 16 discs is plenty but has anyone gone through this and then wanted more discs?

-Do those of you who carry XL bags (16+ discs) find that you use more than 16 discs in one round?

-Do any of you have a TE or Carolina bag from Revolution and had problems with it?

Thanks for your opinions  B)

Just bought this bag and it is awesome!  Will last forever( my innova fell apart almost right away).  The frame is really cool too.  As far as capacity goes, this will hold more than the stated amount of discs.  In mine I comfortably have 9 drivers, 5 approach, and 3 putters without using the zippered pockets.  Should be more than enough for most people.  The only heads up I'll give you is that the colors pictured on line look a little different in real life ( i got the rust and it is a bit darker in real life than shown in the pic).  All in all, happy with mine.

Revolution has a good reputation for quality.  Innova, by the way, is addressing the quality issues that arose with the Tour Bag, and until those issues are addressed no Tour Bags will be available.

I'm not the one to ask about bags.  I spent $1.50 on the bag I currently use and it is not a disc golf bag.  It has lasted two seasons.  I'm going to see if they go on sale again this year.

I think you should carry fewer discs and learn how to throw them, and that a 16 disc bag would be more than plenty.  But I have about a thousand discs so I'm not even trying to carry every disc I own.

I currently have a Carolina Bag and I love it. It is almost a year old and all it has is dirt on it. It is a tank when it comes to the quality of it's materials and stitching. I comfortably hold 16 discs in the main compartment, 2 putters outside, and 4-5 Discs in the side pockets. This bag will certainly hold 25-30 Discs!

I am definitely putting down the cash for one of these bags sometime this winter.  I have a discraft bag that holds about 12-15 discs and it is falling apart after less than a year.  I carry about 15-16 discs max, so I dont need anything extremely big for the actual disc compartment.  The carolina one looks about right.

Yeah I PM'd Mirth to see if the club still has them.

I too was going to get the rust colored bag and I was wondering does anyone know if the Charcoal Quad Shocks match the grey in the Carolina bag.  I will probably just get black if not.

Revolution bags are the shizznatch! I've had mine about 2 years now. All the zippers work & there is very little wear. I have 2 tiny holes in the bottom but that's from the wear caused by the homemade divider I built after I ran it over with the car.

I've also seen Dan throw, kick, & drag his bag & it still looks like it's in good condition  .

does anyone know the difference between the texas and carolina bags?  Does the carolina just have an extra bottle holder, or is it also bigger?

The difference is that the "Carolina" bag has 2 water bottle holders. One on each side. This is nice because it balances out the weight. $115 Bucks is well worth it!

There is also a difference in material used. The bottom of the Carolina bag has a much more durable fabric. You can check their website for the differences in fabric.

Be ready to drop the dough for the quad shox.  Best place to spend your money if u plan on hauling a plethora of discs during multiple rounds.  Saves your arm and back and will take strokes off your score.   :D

i agree with the Revolutions being worth every penny.  mine has made it through 2 full seasons now and i have abused the shiznatchel out of it.

u forgot to add that you've seen it rolled off a moving vehicle on the highway at about 40mph.

So I finally got my Carolina bag last night...  It is definitely a HUGE improvement over the discraft one I was using before.  It makes my old one look so small and cheap, and it weighs half as much.  Do you guys use the divider rack that came with it?  It seems like it might chew up the discs that are on the ends.  Also, do you all attach your quad shocks to the small 4 loops on the front and back of the bag, or do you put two of the quad shock straps on the two big loops on the top?  It balances well when you use all 4 small ones but it looks funny to me for some reason.

I use the divider & it has never done anything to my discs. Without the use of it though you can jam a ton of discs in there.

I use the 4 loops to attach my quad shocks. I've found a way that's comfortable for me. I've seen people with then attached all kinds of ways.
