felt like a bit of a tool today at league carrying my discs around by hand.  i'm looking at that revolution team expensive one there.  it's pricey, but i figure if it's good and it'll last me a long while, what the hell.  lemme know

gateway's bags are good too, will run you a bit less than the revolution but are made of similar materials. I've had mine since 2002 & it looks almost new! Before that I went through a bag a season.

I didn't get a look at how many discs you were carrying, but I figure since you didn't have a bag today you didn't have more than 4 or 5.
The Gateway Weekend Deluxe is a good starter bag that will hold 15 discs.
The Gateway Player bag is a step up with a little more capacity.
The Gateway Tour is their highest capacity bag & also the one you'll see most people w/a Gateway bag carrying.
One other choice from Gateway is their Backpack Bag which, like the other bags I mentioned here has an internal frame and is a backpack.

Rough idea prices for you, or anyone else interested:
Weekend Deluxe - $60 (retail $70)
Player - $78 (retail $90)
Tour - $84 (retail $95)
Backpack - $90 (retail $110)

I've been using a Plano bag I got on clearance at Sports Authority a few years ago for $1.50.  The ones that were not missing their fishing tackle inserts were on sale for $6 and I got one of those too.  The inserts have been very handy for nuts and bolts, small craft supplies and my wife's sewing stuff.  I used the bag at Worlds and hardly anybody noticed it was not a disc golf bag.  This was before they might have been distracted by the big "9 NINE" painted on the top of my head, too.

So don't feel like you have to spend $50 to $150 on a disc golf bag.  Any quality cordura bag will work.

Especially if you shave your head and paint the number nine on it.

yeah mirth, i only have four as of right now.  i plan to buy more next time i can get to league.  money isn't the most important issue in buying a bag right now, i just don't want to have to buy another one for a long time.  maybe i'll check out what people use when i'm at league in a few weeks.

I have had my Gateway Bag since 2003 and it has been a very durable bag especially when you play from were I seem to end up all the time.

Both are Good Bags - Little pricey overall on both.
