That was a great game yesterday. Was in sec 437, while super high up had a great view of the field.
Don't forget your towel!

i was fortunate enough to score bleacher tix for tuesday's win vs. the asstros from a women at the company i was in town to visit.

the weather was perfect with a game time temp of 78 degrees and a light breeze.  we sat 2 rows back in left center.  wrigley is everything it's cracked up to be-- the perfect place and atmosphere for a ball game.  i enjoyed everything from the trip on the red line to cold suds at murphy's bleachers before the game.  what a great way to cap off our trip to chi-town!

Most miserable streak of 3 seasons i can remember.  Not that we haven't had worse records, but we have really wasted alot of potential. Thanks Dusty!  Enjoy the 14 mill u collected for doing a horrible job.  Thank god Dusty and Macphail are gone.  Hopefully 1 day we can develop a position player from our own system.  You figure we could atleast get lucky and have 1 guy from the minors turn out to be decent........

For next year we need to address SS, 2B, and LF.  It'd be nice if anybody could stay healthy too.

Yea I was there on Saturday too (and Tuesday). Tuesday night they blew out the Brewers which was fun. Saturday was an odd game but I can't believe they brought it back to extra innings.

Made it out to Wrigley on tuesday and wednesday for the last two cubs-brewers games of the year, bringing my season total to 25 games (24 at wrigley).  Still managed to bank $100 on brewers-cubs overall season records, even though the two teams were a wash head-to-head (8-8 apiece).  Cubs have a lot of work to do if they want any hope of a postseason in the near future.  I'm predicting a shitty re-building 2007 and likely a decent team in '08, with the same old garbage keeping them out.

The brewers will have somewhere between 70 and 80 wins each year for the next 30 years.  How long before Bill Hall and Prince Fielder get traded????

Me either! Thanks for the ticket, but I'm glad we took off when we did. I think your win streak is still intact since the Cubs haven't lost a game when you're physically in the park.

Good call on the free wings, by the way. Those things were awesome!

It's official. I'm joining the in-laws and picking up a Pujols jersey today. I'm even going to get a matching Cardinals sticker to match the one my wife has on her car.

Prior with shoulder problem. D Lee hurting his shoulder at the WBC. I can't take another year of this.

This has been the 2 worst f'ing years of baseball. First the Black Sox then the Cards. This absolutely sux. I guess I need to pick another team to root for next year. I should have gone to Vegas & laid down some $. I'm going with the Mets next year.

I know the feeling, I feel the same way about the Bears.  I refuse to watch any playoff games that they are in.  I didn't watch the SuperBowl in January of 86.  They make me sick.  I hope they go on a 10 game losing streak.  The Bears still stink.

I don't understand the Cubs/White Sox thing.  But I can certainly understand disliking the Cardinals because they are in the same league and division at the Cubs. To me, hating the Cubs or Sox seems like a waste of energy when you could be focused on hating the Bears. 16-0? What a joke.  There have been many great teams over the years who have started 11...12...13... and zero and couldn't do it.  And now crazy Bears fans talk about the Bears going undefeated? Not a chance of it happening, the stinking AZ Cardinals gave the game away to the Bears, then the next week got blown out by the Raiders.  The Raiders are one of the worst teams in years YEARS.  This team will be like the 2001 Bears, go 13-3 get crushed in the play-offs and go 4-12 the next year.   The Bears still don't have a quarterback.  Grossman won't last another 5 games before he gets hurt, either that, or after another six turnover performance great Bear fans will be screaming for his head.

All it takes is a couple of losses and Bears fans will be killing the Bears on sports talk radio. Like rats off a sinking ship...

Dan Michler

i'm sure colts fans are talking about going undefeated too..............who cares.

is somebody a bitter fan of a team that is heading nowhere anytime soon?  don't be so bitter tommy, you obviously want to switch over to a real team, its okay with me if you start rooting for the bears now  :)

Heh, I may side with you on the Cubs Dan, but I'm on Tom's side for against the Bears!  I just hope that the packers show up for the last week of the season and actually put some points on the board.  The Bears aren't that good.

No team is going to be undefeated this year, that's just all there is to it.

Were still 7-0...  Not that good?  Quit whining....  We're the best in the NFL this year, its that simple.  Oh, and the Packers didn't have a chance the first game of the season and the sure as HE** won't have a chance in the last game of the season.  Get used to the Bears being #1.  Forget the Cubs, its Bears season.
