Hey guys,

I know there is a one disc tournament this summer in Joliet, and while I was playing yesterday, I was wondering which disc I might choose for such an event.  I am torn between my XD and my X-Buzzz - the XD is better for putting but the Buzzz goes way further.  Which disc would you guys choose and why?

Just depends what course.

A course like Mokena i'd use my Orc
If it was a short course i'd use my putter or roc.

Usually the J-town 1 disc challenge is at West Park, so a Roc is definetly the way to go there.

I suppose the course does make a substantial difference.  For the sake of this thread, assume the tourney is at West Park.

Roc for sure great for tee shots at west park and is pretty good for putting.

Never played one.  I suppose I would take a Roc.  Silly question...what happens if you lose your disc?  Are you dq'd?

I like the Coyote for a do it all disc. I can throw it with a hyzer, anhyzer or straight line. It has about 90% of the distance my drivers can muster and it works well as a putter.

Between the Buzz and XD it would depend on the course. I would pick the XD for technical wooded courses as you can throw nice hyzer flips and turnover shots with them. If I were playing a longer more open or windy course I'd chooze the Buzz as it is a better wind fighter and also get you a little more D.

Never played West Park so I have no idea what disc I would use.

I'm just gonna assume I'd use a Buzzz...or put my money on Brian and his 300 ft. Bulldog throws and watch.

KC Pro Aviar or Roc...  I throw them about the same distance for some reason but the Aviar needs a lot more height to carry that far.

looks like you've discovered one of the two secrets of throwing a putter far.

If their is a face wind that is a sweet secret,  lol most people do not think of the wind and then do not no why they drive far at certain times and not others.
