Remember, it's best 5 of 7. You drop your lowest totals after 5 events played.

but they only count the best 2 out of 3 responses that come in regarding the question.  Brett's answer is definitely in, I'll let Dan and Jon fight it out for the second spot lol

Sorry, just found some humor in the "i've been plagued by seeing the question for the last post on a page of the thread and responded before realizing there was another page of responses" factor.

I like that you only take the top 5... it allows people to miss some events if time doesn't permit and also allows that one really really bad round to not count against you.  Excellent job

It is correct. We treat tie breakers just like payouts. If you tie for a payout position you split that spot unless it's for 1st place.

Your 39 is correct. I overlooked Strauss. He should have 39 as well.

Do you have to collect your prizes for placing in the top?  I mean, what if the top rec men don't show up and Kelsey mysteriously disappears with her blue teebird, do the trophy thingys go to the next five people present?

Overall series trophies are the only exception to our "you gotta be there to collect your prizes" rule. If someone isn't there to collect their overall trophy we will do our best to get it to them.

Jon, post that link to the dyed overall discs here too.  For first in every division that has not been exempted for lack of players, we'll have a plaque to mount it to.  For other places that are receiving overall awards, we'll have a black enamel and brass tag you can put on the disc, if you want to use it for a trophy.
