CTP's For the Cyrstal lake event

I was wondering if u gave out the ctp's for the am's beacuse after the awards i didnt hear anything about them?

The CTP's were ready before the cards were all tallied and so Bruce handed those out first.

Both days we did CTPs at the beginning of the awards, before "thank yous".  On Saturday we also did some CTPs while the pros were out playing the Final 4.  That is when we normally do CTPs. 

I don't remember any unclaimed CTPs from Saturday.  I don't save the flags.  Usually I put them in Jon's box, but he cleans the box out every tournament because it fills up with crap really fast, otherwise.

I checked the CTP's-they were all marked Paid-Kira was marking them as Bruce handed them out.

what is a ctp

Closest to pin (or pole hole).
At many tournaments certain holes will be designated for as a CTP. Whichever disc ends up closest off the drive will be marked with a flag at the rear of the marker disc and the thrower's name will be written on the attached card. At the end of the day (or round), whoever's name is the last on the card (ie had the best drive) will win something. Some tournaments will also have longest drive holes. Same principle but slightly different to determine who is better (e.g. which is better: 10 ft short of the pin vs 20 ft long of the pin?).
At the IOS trounaments since they have been filling, I believe there have been CTPs for one division or another on every hole during the second round.

Our CTP standard has been one for every five players in your amateur division so when we run fivesomes that's one on every hole on the lower day.  If you have less than five players in your division you might get a smaller CTP or you might get lumped in with another competitively appropriate division. 

At Rockford we also have morning round CTPs from Marshall Street and from USADGC.  The USADGC CTPs are advanced division only.
