just curious, how do you rate your merch selectoin?
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

I agree with Bruce's assessment.  Bruce has his inventory pretty well organized as well.  They had some good stuff at the Homie (eg. CFR Star Rhyno and some other CFR discs), but it was not as organized (especially in the morning).

I don't want to get too off-topic, but I would probably classify someone with "great" or even "fantastic" offerings in merch to have one or two more brands aside from Innova and Discraft, probably 800-1000 discs available of various models, weights, colors, and plastic types, plenty of bags, mini's, and similar accessories.  In addition to all that, offering CFR or other tournament-stamped discs is a definite plus.  Having the occassional basket available (a pain since you never know if it will sell and it's bulky) is always nice.  In addition to all of this: decent organization.  You can have a bazillion discs, but if the people looking at them have to spend 20 minutes just to find out you don't have a particular disc left, it's junk!  Dyed discs are an additional plus.

So I would put Bruce's stuff very close to that cateogry of great or even fantastic.  I think it's very adaquate to support 100 players for each day of an IOS tournament.

Everyone's tastes are different.  If you only throw Innova stuff, then someone with 300 Innova discs might tickle you pink.  However, if you throw only Discraft or only Gateway, it makes it tough to want to spend your brass cash on anything since there isn't anything that you would want to pick up.  It's always tough to know what to carry because you never know what the people coming to the tournament are really looking for.

Thank you for the kind words.  Sometimes I wish I could carry more product lines, but to get the best prices I have to order in quantity, and I cant order 200 Millenium discs and 200 Ching discs and 200 Discwings, etc.  There are now 14 or 15 disc companies.  No one can carry everything.  I do try to have baskets, bags, towels, birdie bags, hats and shirts at every tournament.

I had ten hoodies and ten polar fleece hats at Byron.  Those went fast!
