The interesting thing was to see time pass.  Youth triumph over age.  Speed and strength beat  experience and wisdom.  Adrian Jr. (952!!) has passed Adrian Sr.  I think there's no looking back here.

..he says as he smashes the 800 barrier...  ;)

The new ratings are hilarious for me as I've had a mostly miserable summer and I still went up a point... only because IL State hasn't gotten rated yet.

otoh, Pickle Open isn't in there either - Terry, do you know what's up with that?
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

and frankly I can't figure out how I didn't go down.  You think you played poorly this summer...I urinated away strokes in just about every event I played this summer.  I think a computer glitch kept me at the Mendoza line.  Perhaps some actual good play will get me above it.  As those young folks say, "whatever."  In any case the quote
"there's no looking back here" was referring to Adrian Jr.  No matter how well papa plays, I figure he is going to be chasing the offspring from here on in.

I was comparing the unofficial round ratings and the official ratings and it looks like the unofficials were generally 10-18 points lower. For example your 821/813 rounds at Rockford came in officially as 838/830.

That's because of the group I played in.  Thanks Mike! ;D  Mike and I played with a third guy who's name I forgot in the second round.  The same threesome played together in Rockford's second round the year before.  Its just goes to prove that certain things rise and sink to their own level.  However, this year, for one round, we actually played disc golf in the afternoon.  It was fun and Mike beat me by a stroke in the second round.
