Chris had posted on another thread. I just wasn't able to get to it prior to his post. I went out to Lakewood on Friday and plotted out a 9 holer. Several of us played there on Saturday afternoon. There is some tweaking to be made but i'm still not sure if I want to add another short hole between 7 & 8 or not. I'm also torn on what placement on #9.

#1 320ft. Downhill, very fast green. Water behind basket. Low ceiling to get to basket. Tall grass to right.
#2 250ft. Anhyzer or straight over water, water short & right. Tree hanging over water can knock discs into water.
#3 330ft. Uphill, row of trees directly down the middle. Low hanging branches around green. Road OB.
#4 Short Left 450ft Slight elevation. Pin tucked under trees. Road OB.
Short Right 425 Pin tucked to right under tree near road. Road OB
Long  550ft Pin placed to deep right & protected by tree. Road OB.
#5 510ft. (This hole will probably be changed. It was a pretty easy 3 & i was not pleased with the design)
#6 Short 615ft Pin sits by water. Takes 2 very good shots thru mature trees to take a 3.
Long 675ft Pin is tucked farther back in protected area. Very tough 3 to get!
#7 280ft  Pin by water with several trees protecting.
#8 350ft  Elevated tee. Gap between trees to navigate. Fast green with slope behind & to the right of the basket.
#9 Long Right 300ft  Throw across water to opening on side of hill.
Short Right 240ft  Basket sits on slope to pin protected by several mature trees.
Straight 325ft    Baskets sits directly by water. SCARY!
Long Left 600ft. Place first shot to right. Hit a longer upshot to get your 3.

Awesome layout.  How deep is that water?  I'd be afraid of having to go fishing all day long.  I know! Most of the lightning discs float, so just set up a stand for when all of you finish the first round and go to start round two! lol j/k  My DX Dragon certainly won't cut it.  Are there thoughts of this course going in to stay at some point?  Or is this just going to be a temp course.  If permananent, I wonder if it would be worthwhile to have "newbie-friendlier" alternate tees as well.

We fished some discs out of the pond by two.  And I believe that there were some discs retrieved from the pond by one. The pond at one is covered with a nice green slime.  Couldn't tell how deep the pond at three was, it looked like it fell off pretty quick from the shore.  7,8, and 9 are retrievable at the edge but if you send the disc out towards the center they are gone.

Tom is right. I was able to retrieve a disc from 1 that went in the water & 2 of them on #2. The water is pretty deep though. If we ever play this course i'd bring out some water discs.

I'd say there is 0% chance of this course going in at this site. It's just a temp layout. Right now i'd say the lottery odds are about the same as getting a course in the Lake County Forest Preserve. I would like to set a date & time for this course to be set up though using skillshots. I'd like to play some doubles & singles rounds out there to see what set up I like the best.

If I were able to get a course installed in the LCFPD I would try to get it done right with Long & Short tees so it's enjoyable for all skill level players. For this temp course I wanted something more challenging then the pitch and putt we get to play daily.
