Another 4th of July Pickup Game

In preparation for the IL State Finals (and the fact that when you live in the city, playing during the week is next to impossible) Jonathan Dobberstein and I are leaving from the city at 8:45 tomorrow morning on the 4th and heading to Mokena. Looking to tee off around 10 and play for some tags and possibly skins. Anyone else interested?

wow that stinks, and I was thinking of heading out there today too.  Guess I'm glad I decided to sleep in instead!

A lot of courses are effectively closed on 4th of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day due to family picnics and the like. There's just sometimes way more of them than there are of us. Round Lake is about the only course that doesn't have that problem.

I never even thought about it being a problem, I was just so excited to get to play. We ended up "not seeing" the signs and just played while skipping holes 12, 15 and 16 (I think) in the middle there in the areas that they were setting up.
