I don't play disc golf but we have a course in DeKalb, IL. I'm thinking of doing an
event to raise funds for the DeKalb Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Our park
district has a 9-hole course and will expand to 18.

Could you put me in touch with someone in our area that has run an amatuer event?

We are home to NIU and have some avid enthusiasts that would like me to get this
going to promote more interest in the sport.

sounds intriguing, I'd be interested in something like that. hehe, I even come complete with merch for payouts and would probably be able to swing some of the cash sales proceeds to go towards the fundraiser.

I and couple other guys organize/run the Friday doubles league in DeKalb. We know most of the regulars that play the course. If she still needs help, you can give her my email address jasonwsternberg@gmail.com.

sounds awesome!  I go to school at NIU and would definately participate in this...off topic, but is there any info on the expansion to 18?  I'd help, but i've never been to a event before...but i'll definately support it!
